Dr. David Morrow

Dr. David Morrow of Mount Pleasant, SC passed away yesterday at 6:00 pm. He was afflicted with a brain tumor which doctors tried to remove once, but it came back. He will be missed by his family and all those who knew him. I met Brother Morrow when I was serving as a missionary in Mount Pleasant, and I will always remember playing wiffle ball in their back yard after they had made dinner for Elder Sharon and me. I also remember playing baseball on P-day with the Morrow boys. The life of those boys is a testament to the kind of life that Brother Morrow lived. He was truly a great man and a Christlike example of love and service. I hope that all who knows him will pay their respects to his family and I wish them best for the Morrow family in this time of need.

I was searching for info about Dave because I'd just learned the news of his passing ...and I came across your blog.
I can see him always welcoming the missionaries into his home....he was the nicest guy. I know Dave from high school and my husband played baseball with him in high school and at UTC ~ The Tech.
We are sick about this and our heart goes out to his family. He was one special guy. Such a great guy.

Thanks for sharing on your blog.
